1. Acceptance
These terms govern your use of yorkshirestore.shop and any order you place on it. Yorkshire Store is a sole proprietorship based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, selling online across India. By placing an order you accept these terms as they stand on the day of the order.
2. Your account and fair use
You are responsible for the accuracy of the delivery address and contact number you give us, and for keeping your account credentials to yourself. You agree not to scrape, resell or republish our listings, photographs or specification tables, and not to place orders you do not intend to accept.
3. Prices and payment
All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR). Payment is by UPI (prepaid) or Cash on Delivery only; we do not accept credit cards, debit cards or PayPal. This shop trades below the GST registration threshold, so we do not charge GST and do not issue a GST invoice. Prices may change without notice, but never after an order is confirmed.
4. Orders and our right to decline
An order confirmation is an acknowledgement, not an acceptance. We may decline or cancel an order where stock has run out, where a listed price was clearly wrong, where the delivery address is outside our courier network, or where we suspect fraud. A declined order is refunded in full.
5. Electrical supply, installation and use
Delivery is to your gate or building entrance. Installation, plumbing, levelling and the electrical connection are not included and are not arranged by us. Appliances require a stable earthed supply of the rating printed on the machine; damage caused by an unstable supply, a missing earth, an overloaded extension board or incorrect installation is not covered. Where a machine ships with transit bolts, they must be removed before first use and the spanner is inside the carton.
6. Intellectual property
The text, photography, specification tables and layout of this site belong to Yorkshire Store. Any product name used only to describe a shape, a fitting or a material is descriptive and implies no association with, or authorisation from, any third party.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the goods are supplied without any other warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Our liability, whether based on warranty, contract, tort or any other legal theory, is limited to the amount you paid for the item concerned. Nothing here limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 that cannot be limited by agreement.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Information Technology Act, 2000 (IT Act 2000) and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. The courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
