Yorkshire Store is a small online appliance shop in Jaipur selling household appliances by rated capacity, wattage and installed footprint. Every listing carries three dimensions — carton, machine, and depth with the door open — because the one people forget is the one that ends the delivery at the threshold.

Measured the alcove, not the door
A machine ordered for a Jaipur flat came back the same afternoon. The alcove fitted and the socket was there; the bathroom doorway was twenty-four inches and the machine was twenty-three and a half deep with the door shut — and thirty-nine with it open, which is what the delivery team needed to turn it past the frame.
That refusal cost a freight slot in both directions and set the format for every listing since. Three dimensions, the rated load, the supply the machine needs, and a plain sentence that we deliver but do not install.

Rating-plate figures are on the page. Larger appliances want a dedicated earthed point, and a shared extension board is the usual cause of a tripped circuit.

We bring it to the gate. Plumbing and the electrical connection are your technician’s work, and we set that expectation before you pay.
What we will not claim
We will not quote a running-cost saving we have not measured, we will not describe a delivery as an installation, and we will not promise a service visit we cannot send. Appliances are used weekly for years, so a specification that was wrong is remembered for a long time.
